Beginners' courses in Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire

Is anyone aware of any courses for beginners in jewellery making or silversmithing in either Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire please? The nearest I've found so far is in Cambridge which is a bit too far for me.

Have you checked out courses at In The Studio at Kegworth, see; http://www.inthestudio.co.uk/main/aboutus.html , I have read excellent reports about their courses.

There is one in Derby, I dont know if thats too far for you. Its at the Landau Forte College, on a Tuesday evening, and run by an excellent tutor, who also teaches jewellery as part of the BA crafts course at the local university. There is only a couple of weeks left now before the summer but they hope to run again in the autumn.
