Go West, James! and keep going!

I sent you a PM with my phone number, but I'm very close to your friend in Pendeen.

I love what you've done with the pearls! So organic.

Thanks tabby. one of my work colleagues was asking me if I would do a 'mates rate' on it. I'm pleased to say that no pearls have fallen out and I've been wearing it for a whole week now.

The more I look at that the more I like it. I think that the contrast of textures & colours between the 2 materials is a big part of it.

Couldn't remember if egg wrack was edible or not, but I did find some recipes around - one is here: http://www.wildmanwildfood.com/ckAUG...andseaweed.pdf

That's fabulous. I love the texture of the silver and the colour of the pearls, which set it off beautifully.

thanks both. not sure I fancy eating it. it's a bit rubbery and often has bits stuck on it.

anyway I have provisionally sold it to a colleague at a 'mate's rate' (half price) on the proviso that if anyone else wants it at full price before we both get paid then it's fine. even so , I have more casts so not an issue. happy someone is wearing and loving my stuff finally!

ETA: Mr Bond, if life was too short to stuff a mushroom in the 70s, it's way to short to stuff flipping eggwrack bubbles in the 21st century!
