Default Be gentle - but honest

    Hi All,

Some of you may remember a few strange questions I've asked on here previously but they've all led to this point! I'm fairly new to the site so I hope this works!

This is the necklace I've made for my sister for her wedding - the flower is designed to sit off centre. Apologies for the photo quality.

I'd really appreciate any comments (preferably constructive).

    Thanks

I think that is really lovely and will be something that your sister will treasure long after her wedding!

Thank you - those comments mean a lot coming from people on here.

I really hope that she likes it - not been brave enough to show her yet but will have to soon as the wedding is in 2 weeks!

That's real heirloom stuff. Let's hope that one day you will have a niece to wear it for hers as 'something borrowed'.

More a question than a comment now: Will you in the long term let it tarnish, or do you have a plan for keeping its colour? Also what would other members do?

Best wishes for the wedding, Dennis.

    Thanks Dennis,

What would you do? I'd like to hear any suggestions or advice as I hadn't thought that far ahead to be honest!
If I don't get a niece at least it will stay in the family as I have a daughter already.

    lucky sister!

but... if the flower is supposed to sit off centre, won't the weight of it, just centre itself?
