Hi Marlies and welcome!
Lorraine
hello!
and I need 10 characters to post so, show us some of your work?
that gold and titaniuim? ring in the middle is divine.
oh thanks! Yeah it is titanium. They're the wedding rings I made for my twinbrother.
Hi and welcome marlies, I always go for the topaz, but here it would be difficult to put anything last. Your work is very unusual and I even like the tapioca. Have you exhibited in UK?
Kind regards, Dennis.

Thanks Dennis, I have to say the topaz is one of my favourites too, especially in the swiss top colour. What stone is tapioca? I sometimes get the translations wrong. The first ring is a Palmera citrin, the second a diamond, the third a garnet, then the topaz and the last is a sapphire. I haven't exhibited in the UK yet, except here in my local artshow. But I'm afraid my work was a little out of the pricerange here. At the moment I'm doing a lot with silver to keep the cost down a bit and see if I can sell some of that.
Hope the sun is shining where you are, Marlies
Well I think you could be a world class jeweller, but you must be single minded in promoting your work. My long term teacher, now retired, was Barbara Christie, also from Netherlands. Have you come across her? She still has a website and exhibits at Goldsmiths Hall, London and Art in Action.
Tapioca is a retro milk pudding full of little balls like frogs' spawn. It was popular in the 'forties and 'fifties but as children we thought it revolting. Yes the sun is shining and it is spring here in London.
