I've been a lurker for ages here, since I started going to an adult ed. course in 2010. I've always enjoyed making things. I was looking at taking a 1 year access course - I got in but unfortunately the college changed the course from 2 days to 2.5 days a week and at the time I couldn't do it but I was so impressed by the facilities in the metal workshop that I decided to sign up for an adult ed course.

I've made quite a few things, pendants and shawl pins mostly and am hoping to start making some bits at home soon. I keep putting it off because I already have lots of creative hobbies, too much stuff and not enough room!

Thank you! I've been dithering all day putting things in and out of my basket so I can set myself up for making the shawl pins at home. Must click the 'buy' button soon!

I bet! Really, I have too many crafty hobbies already but I just love making things. There's no hope for me.
