A mess usually!! I have started making jewellery - nothing fancy yet, just learning the basics really, I want to do a course but haven't got around to looking for one yet. I like the idea of silversmithing though. I make cards, knit, sew - anything crafty really. I do have a horrible habit though, once I can do it I put it down and take ages to go back to it so I am trying really hard not to do that with the jewellery as silver isn't that cheap!

You guys are making me feel so at home here.....so good to know. Whenever I tell friends about my latest passion....I get a general air of 'oh yeah, coz u need another hobbby'.
I am also determined to stick with the jewellery making and working with silver....BUT it means I must not go to any craft fairs or shops and think...'ooooo thats pretty/ sparkly/lovely, I need to learn how to do that'.

LOL, it is a hazard of the occupation.... I have done: knitting, cross stitch, needlework, weaving, rubber stamping, glass painting, pergamano, quilling, encaustic art, silk painting, hole punching, beading, polymer clay, felting.......but the jewellery has lasted longer than anything (I still felt)
