    Default Charm Bracelet Chain Recommendations

    Hi All,

I don't usually do bracelets but a friend has asked me to make a charm bracelet for his wife and I'm looking at what's on offer at cooksons. Can anyone recommend a chain thats suitable? Doesn't need to be the traditional charm bracelet link one of the hammered/textured links would be nice.

    Thanks
    Belinda

I dont tend to use ready made chain for my charm bracelets - I make my own out of jump rings bought for chain maille - they are much heftier than bought chains so can take the weight of charms better. I can then make a suitable clasp to fit in with the particular charms etc

    Default Bracelet Chain.

Charm bracelets had a fashion revival about ten years ago and this is an example of what I made. As in the case of abyjem I found the bought chains unsatisfactory and made my own. I made the charms as well, as those available were pathetic.Times have moved on and Cooksons have some more splendid chains now.

I'm sorry about the pictures which are scanned in fom old prints. Dennis.
