I just love the design of that bracelet, I think Joe is right in saying it could become a signature piece! The bracelet and necklace to go with the earrings are lovely, but I think the necklace could be improved with a hand made clasp. For what it's worth my favourite piece is the carnelian pendant! I could think of lots of things to wear that with :-)

(BTW, I think I'm with your wife on the mail piece, not sure that works......)

The original UK version of this book has a different name and is considerably cheaper

In addition the suppliers listed in the back are UK based whereas the US edition (as you would expect) lists US suppliers.

This companion book by Jinks McGrath is also very good

Thank you, Myosotis. This just shows how easy it is to lose your way up the Amazon. Dennis.

    Hi Jo,
I really love your work and it looks to me like you have a natural flair for design. nit-picking really but I agree with Dennis about the earwires on the lapis earrings - handmade is definately the way to go there.
I dont agree about the maille pendant - I love it and I would make it work! - but maybe if you made the top bar a triangle it would lay flat and work better.
The carnelian pendant is lovely but for me 4 dangles dont work - I would prefer to see.
The castings are lovely and I think you have a very bright future in jewellery design/making.
