Default Have a look at this one...

I know nothing about pearl quality - but I went to a bead fair in June and passed a stall that had nothing but pearls and I just wanted to jump into them and pour them all over my head!! ...I did manage to restrain myself though...the table wouldn't have taken the strain anyway!!!..

but back to the pearls supplier. Here is the link to the UK site. No idea if it is good or bad value or anything else....just thought I would post this little 'pearl' of knowledge.....hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!.

I've not bought many pearls, but those I have bought, I got here. They were actually quite beautiful, as were their mother of pearl sticks, which are cheap as chips.

but do bear in mind that these guys are in China (not the UK as they appear to claim a lot of the time). I know that I, and others, have had less than great buying experiences with them.

I get my pearls from Burhouse - always good quality and never had to return anything of theirs due to bad quality. I bought a 10 strand lot for £15.00 - v. good. http://www.burhousebeads.com/

Apparently, the way to tell whether a pearl is real or not is that it will taste gritty in your mouth - anyone tried the test?

    Hope that helps

Don't you hate these foreign masqueraders. You should have to reside in the country your website is for LOL

You rub the pearl on your teeth and it will feel gritty, no need to pop it right in...well unless you are hungry

I'm hoping for world peace but I'd also like something shiny as well...
