    Default Hello from Oxfordshire

Having joined the forum a little while back I have at last found time to say hello and introduce myself.
Jewellery making is a hobby as I work full time in a hospital laboratory. I started with beadwork but gave that up (apart from an odd dabble) when I discovered PMC, I was then introduced to chainmaille and have been hooked ever since! I mostly make things for myself, family and friends but have sold an occasional piece.
I think I have at long last mastered Jens Pind after many failed attempts and am currently working on a necklace combining JP chain, PMC and some gorgeous lampwork beads I bought.
My partner has indulged me and my 'little diversions' - a couple of birthdays back I received a kiln and he has just bought me a Koil Kutter for the next one. I am a bit apprehensive about the coiling & cutting process and I'm waiting for some copper wire to arrive so that I can have a few practice sessions before buying silver

Hi and welcome. I'd love a koil kutter - but for now am working with a saw.
