Default Some lily blooms I made last week.

I bought a new camera last month and took some photos of the job I was working on at the time, they are a couple of lily blooms that I finished making last week and now they are off at the enamellers.

I don't think I'd ever get bored at looking at things like that.
Impressed with the camera work as much as the craftsmanship,I can never seem to get decent pics. I think I haven't got the patience.
Thanks for taking the time to show us your work.

Yes Nicola, they are 18ct. It is a repeat order and I have made them before so here is a photo of the finished enamelled lily, they are on the top of a pair of tablelamp shades.

Glad you like the photos, they were taken with my new Lumix FZ38 camera, a birthday present from my wife.

Fantastic!! I want to try! (Even though I don't have all the right equipment)

Is the block of wood in the first photo a former for the basic shape before you bash it on the stake at the front?

Yes Nicci, the wood is for bashing the basic shape on each petal after I had used a doming punch to shape the very end,as on the second photo, the steel shape is for planishing the petals and for adding the curve to each petal, I just used one of the shaped hammers and a corner of the wood to add the crinkles on the petal edges. finally I soldered the petals together in threes, as two layers make the flower. The hammers are standard hammers filed to shape, they are panel pin or cross pein hammers and cost about £4 from Amazon.
