Default Hello from Suffolk (and a bit Norfolk!)

    Hi there

I'm on the Suffolk/Norfolk border so get the best of both worlds!

I've had my website for about a year and this year decided I needed to get out and about amongst it all to promote my jewellery.

I mostly work in semi-precious stones with sterling silver (or vermeil) findings as I think the stones demand better quality findings.

My hope to be able to make enough this year to fund a silver smithing course next year. I'd love to be able to set my own stones and to make my own clasps (beyond the basic ones I can make now).

Thing about the craft fairs - I find myself making other things that I know will do better at the fairs! But do I mind? Do I heck - any excuse to work with beads of any kind!

    Hiya!

I whistled through the fair... which were you then? I'm guessing... new to lampwork with lots of necklaces not far from the front door?

Hi there - I'm from Suffolk too, also have a website, and also have just started doing fairs and shows. Spooky huh?! I dreaded doing shows initially, as I started off, many years ago, with a market stall in Sydney, and thought those days were long behind me! Actually, I really have enjoyed the shows I've done so far, and have approximately 2 a month booked this year so far. What about you?
