    Default Hello from Warwick

    Hello all from Warwick

Well this is a new type of forum for me, i usually frequent codeing and gameing sites But since last winter i've been getting back into working with metal, which i have not played around with for more than 20 years (how time flys) Its so nice to be making things that i can actually hold and feel again, insted of plastic keys and mouse.
Anyho, i have fallen in love with Brass and i'm gathering tools to work it better, things like a Pillar Drill, Lathe and Scroll Saw will be on the cards soon, also i shell hopefully be casting with brass at some time.
Are there more Brass lovers out there?

    Thanks for reading bb

    Alan

Hiya! I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to the relationship between machining and art - I'm not sure I even like circles!

Thanks for all your replys, and yes Joe I feel a little like i've turned to the dark side with machining, but what would we do without it ? 'All hail the tool makers !'
