Air drying slow dry 650 silver clay

I've read it's not recommended to air dry slow dry 650 silver clay but my first attempts were all just left for a couple of days to dry out. Is this just a case of blind luck? Should I oven dry my next attempts and if so can anyone give me an idea on how long and on what gas mark? Thanks in advance for any advance and tips.

Hmmm, I must have overlooked this recommendation. I mostly use Slow Dry silver clay, and have always air-dried it, at least for 24 hours, but not encountered any problems as yet! Where did you hear this advice?

Rainbow - air drying is the best way to avoid warping on ALL of the clays

Thank you, i looked up in google about air drying 650 slow dry silver clay and found it was not recommended but as I've said I had no trouble so got slightly confused. Maybe they are just assuming that people will air dry for a really short amount of time where as I tend to look at mine for a long time too scared to start messing with it LOL.
Thanks for the answers i'm brave enough to have a play now once it cools down a bit here.
