Question Finding a direction to go in!

    Hello!
(It's me first post, be gentle :-)
I have been making silver jewellery for about a year now. I'm very much self-taught, and finding it hard to decide which direction to go in.
My work seems to appeal to the 'alternative' market (which suits me), but I'm not sure if it has any further appeal.
Any comments on my current stuff would be very much appreciated (the 'shop' link has the shiny stuff in)
    Thanks a million,
    Lydia

Argh, I'm not allowed to post a link, but I'm called Silversaurus and the URL is a dot com!

I love your site, it's very original. I also love your jewellery and think it will appeal to lots of people who like unusual jewellery.

Hello Lydia ~ I love your website and it's unusual feel, leading into your unique jewellery. I think your style is great and particularly like your day of the dead skulls and distressed bezel set work.

I'm hoping for world peace but I'd also like something shiny as well...

I like the style of the site.
I'm all new to internet marketing, but i suppose your asking can you sell outside your niche.I'd say the answer is no,that's why it;s a niche.
But there's nothing wrong with creating a new niche.
If your old enough to remeber Ratners and HS Samuels (high street jewellers.) Ratners were a cheap jewellers and Samuels were considered more up market. They were owned by the same company,so they got your money no what you was looking for.
Hey I made a 'Day of the dead' skull. I thought i was the only one!! Haven't sold it though!!

Love the circus theme Silversaurus - Distinctive Jewellery
and the jewellery is great too (especially the ancient bezels)
Can see how it would appeal to the alternative market - the general market
would probably prefer them smooth (maybe you could offer both?)

Your appealing to a bigger markets than you think. It seems that a lot 'unusual' tings are coming into fashion.
Love the site and the design by the way. Well done.
