what do I do first
Hi'
I'm new to the forum and haven't crafted any jewelery yet, I am planning to use some fine art silver slow dry clay to produce my first pieces, but having read as many comments and tutorials as I can find there are a few things I'm not sure about, do I need to put anything on my surface or hands? and how does the clay stick together, ie, joining a ring or bangle? and what and how do I 'condition' the clay and what are the best type of (cheapish) stones to set in it? I would appreciate any advice as am total novice but always good at arts and crafts so have decided to give jewelery a go. I am going to do the Fired Silver basic pmc day course and basic chainmail but the're weeks away and having bought materials (chains, clasps, Sheet, wire, clay in silver) and some basic tools I'm itching to get started but also a little wary of messing it up
