Absolutely gorgeous!! I did some piercing yesterday, 2mm copper sheet...my hands and shoulders are really achey today, but my piece is no where near as detailed as yours...how long did it take you?!

Love that piece - I look at something like that and want to try my hand - but having sawed a small piece of silver sheet once I know I'd give up before it got very far. Always very impressed with people who can do this.

Amazing work! Well done. I love piercing, and making lentil beads but haven't tried piercing one yet!

Thanks for all the lovely comments. I'm wearing it at work today strung on a pierce of pink leather thong, but I'll need to come up with a permanent solution.

It did take ages, probably about 2 hours per side, plus filing, sanding and polishing, and an hour to solder the halves together and set the stones (yes, there's one on the back too - I couldn't resist - it needed symmetry).

It was the sort of thing where I really enjoyed doing the first one, but if I was doing another it would have to be a different pattern or I'd get bored.

And Nicci - I love lentil beads too! I finsd the shape sooo pleasing.

Trully lovely, I think you should be really proud of yourself. I would have been chuffed to bits if I had made it.
