    Default New Furbaby Kitty!

So, so excited that we'll be picking up our new Furbaby up next Monday

There's a close up on my flickr stream
Still to get a name for him - currently in the running is "Bob"
He looks a bit like a "Bobcat" to me
    Hubby suggested Oscar or Casper

He was born on Easter Monday so will be seven weeks old when we get him
(they're letting the litter go in stages so the mum doesn't get stressed)
    Nic xx

Not normally a cat lover but he does look pretty good.

    Sam, as Sam I Am.

The trouble with Bob is 'Bobcat', otherwise it's a brilliant name.

Enjoy having him which I'm sure you will.

Awww. What a cutie! I can't have a kitty as DH is VVVVV allergic
I've always liked the idea of naming a cat Schrodinger

Bob seems to be a popular name for cats. A friend of mine has just got a "Bob" although she turns out to be female. She was black - but now she's showing signs of ginger stripes under the blackness which looks really strange - but very cute.

Your kitten is very lovely !
We have 7 cats at home and one dog. About names at home we usually choose egyptian names, our cats are Senuferet aka Senu (sounds like Senoo in english I think), Sety, Tutmose aka Tut, Sobek, Meritamon aka Merit or Meriwee, Mitmit and Noor (this one is not egyptian), our rescued dog is Bes.
There are many great names for cats so I'm sure that you're going to find the one who fits him best.

We Have a bengal named Coco he was already called that and lived with a nieghbour but howled outside our doors and windows for weeks untill he finally squeezed through a slightly open window and moved in on us! Fortunately I am friends with the previous owner (who rescued him from unscrupulus breader he spent his first 6 months caged) who was happy to let us keep him for a nominal amount (they can cost hundreds as he is a pedigree). He is a lovely cat and the first pet we have had as a family, but he can be very mischievous and naughty,( this breed is still a bit wild) he is also very dog like in his behaviour, he wags his tail when you say his name, he follows my husband (his true love) round the house, plays ball and loves being chased in the garden, in all a very loveable odd cat who fits my family perfectly, he will be two this July, we have had him for a year :-)

Our tomcat was Schrodinger - usually called Schro for short, his sister was Teela and his mum was Sushi. Mum was a Maine Coone and the others were Maine Coone crosses!

How adorable! I love cats so much, but can't have one because my husband is allergic to them...

My OH is also allergic, but loves cats, so he suffered (really quite badly) until he became immune to ours (and the 8 kittens she presented us with a year or so later!)
