lovely clear videos Nic! It's good to see some videos on the basics as most of the videos I've seen have skipped those and gone straight onto fancy stuff!

Trying to think of some more basics to record that will fit into 60-90 second videos
So far have thought of Hole drilling and maybe fingerprint taking?

That would be fantastic !!! You're very kind to share tips. Fingerprints are so "unique" (to say so...) , I really would appreciate a video about that !

Can you do a 60 second video of making bails and attaching them with slip?

And I'd like to see one about hole drilling too. What about the basics stone setting, could that be done in 90 seconds?

    Thanks for the other videos.

You're such a superstar Nic. Next time I decide to have a go at silver clay I'll watch your vids FIRST and hopefully wont end up in such a mess!

Meriwee: I'll borrow a child and do fingerprints
Anne: great idea on the bails - will see what I can do....Will work out a sequence for stone setting and drilling too
Gemma: Hope they'll help, feel free to e-mail me with questions
Jo: That's great the more people who see the basic the easier it will hopefully be for new folks

Yours videos are very nice and useful, thank you ! About fingerprints I have some questions : which brand do you prefer ? how many gms per fingerprint ? is it possible to use the torch firing method ?
Sorry for all the questions but this is totally new for me.

Either brand is fine (they both end up as fine silver)
I'd suggest a 10g pack (you'll have some left over)
yes you can torch fire but hob/camping stove firing might be easier for you
