I"ve jsut recently begun to recycle gold! I have a fair bit of outdated gold jewellery (charm bracelets and
rings etc) that I no longer will wear so I figured I'd snip up the gold and melt it into a new life!

Here are three rings I added gold to. This is all 10K gold- I either melted it into wiggly shapes or rolled it
a (borrowed) mill- then soldered it onto silver.
Its amazing how much money gold cost right now. I figured out that one sq inch of 26 g gold sheet is $54.25
Can dollars! . Each of these rings have about $6 worth of silver and about $15 worth of gold! (one ring has a citrine which ups the price a bit too.)
Pricing these rings was a trial.
