    The short answer is to look up Rock "n" Gem shows. There are usually bargains to be had and a lapidary section. Kind regards Dennis.

    I'm after some "rough around the edges" semi- precious stones for setting. A friend recently asked me make some adjustments to an aqauamarine bracelet she bought in Sri Lanka. It has a lovely imperfect and rustic charm about it. All the stones I have used before and seen online have been cut and polished and now I can't rest til I find what I want!
