Speaking of kilns does anyone know where to get the kiln furniture/ shelves for the SC2? I got my kiln from Hobbyceramicraft but they don't seem to sell the shelves.
My last one snapped in half when it got hot too quickly

Warm glass will have everything you could possibly need - and more.

You definitely want a digital controller for annealing glass. For a great entry level kiln to do that, and your pmc, as well as some small scale fusing, take a look at the beadcube, which is a fantastic little bit of kit from a great UK seller:

I have a Skutt HotStart - and I think it's great - I think the Firebox is essentially the same but a different shape. I bought it for the same things as you - but I wanted the option to work with larger scale glass pieces and that's why I went for the HotStart, as it has a larger capacity than the other Skutts in the same price range and MUCH more capacity than something like a Paragon SC2. Then I wanted to have a go at enamelling and needed a front loading kiln, and went for a Beadcube aswell! If you don't need the kiln space, I would pick the Beadcube over the Skutt, as it's cheaper and takes up much less room, but both are good kilns IMO

I think the problem is that theres too much choice! keep going round and round in circles

The bead cube does look good though

My only problem is I just dont know if i want to do larger scale glass work, say bowls etc which is why i was tempted to go with the firebox or something tht size.

    Argh
