I just wanted to say hi.

I started in jewellery through beading, but got frustrated at having to buy clasps and jump rings, so in order to learn how to make my own I went on a silversmithing course in 2007, I got bitten by the bug and have been making silver jewellery ever since.

to the forum, I started with beading, then PMC then a little chain maille before soldering then glass (the list goes on)
Plenty of bugs to get bitten by here, lol

Hi Annette, A warm welcome from me, as I'm only just over the border into South Staffs, not far from Bridgnorth. I am learning more and more about working with silver/copper as a result of being on this forum and its totally addictive!

Whereabouts did you do your silversmithing course???

Hi Jules, I go to Bringsty Art Studio near Bromyard, It is quite a long drive from Shifnal but well worth it. He runs six week courses, of both day and evening classes three times a year. The next one starts in June.
