    This is a 5mm donut cut CZ flush set in silver - tricky to set, but stunning.

    Wow! I love this.

    I wonder if you'd share a bit about it? is it a precast tube setting?(as apposed to larger tube -with a seat cut) Did you use a piece of smaller tubing in the centre? I"ve made lampwork donuts set in bezel with a tube in the middle....but this is way WAY nicer.

    These invisible CZs are in fact extremely rare .No insurer will take them on.

    well I am sorry Dennis but I have been looking at this all day.... I can see a lovely bit of silver but no CZ... has the date anything to do with it? If not I need to know

    What a silly man. I know it is April Fools Day but I assumed that everybody here was mature and adult, obviously not. To take the time fabricating something so daft as well, wish I had that much spare time on my hands.

    Perhaps Dave, a very talented jeweller and a friend of mine, could have made a fondant flower instead.

    Well a fondant flower wouldn't have been very funny at all. It is rather immature though don't you think Sunnybank?
