    Default Tried to set fire to myself...

    and did succeed in burning my thumbnail right down and that was just with my little hand torch. It's a right mess!

    Poor thing - I hope it wasn't deliberate!!
    Seriously though - hope it doesn't hurt too much!

    Sad thing is not at all and with my cold I didn't even smell the nail burning.... my fingers just got hot from holding the tweezers (thank goodness!)

    not reallt... truly it didn't hurt, saddest thing is I shortened the earring post I was soldering, might make a childrens range now as they must have thinner ears!

    It was a real one... luckily one that hadn't been cut right back because it broke so there was a little left to lose without injury

    I'm at a loss as to how you could do this, were you using insulated tweezers?
