Default Soldering PMC & Sterling Silver (cufflinks)

    Hi
I'm trying to make hubby some cufflinks with my new found pmc skills but I'm a bit worried about how the metals might react to each other. I've heard of Silver Prep but can't find it on cooksongold website so I'm questioning if it is at all needed.

Also is the solder syringe the easier option for a first timer, and do I solder before or after firing?

    Thank you
    xx
