Default Round Fine and Sterling Silver Disks

Having just hand cut my first disk from a sheet of Fine silver I would like to request a selection of sizes of Fine and Silver round disks from around 2" to around... say .5".

This would save my OH from retrieving my jewellery tools from the street outside when I get annoyed and throw them out of the nearest window!

    Thankyou

I think you can get sets to 'punch out' discs...
Are they called disc cutters or something... You basically wallap it with a big hammer and it cuts out a circle.

Had a quick look... try this product code 999 772A

I don't think they go as big as you want them tho...

Yeah I've looked at all those and they are just way too tiny, they end at the size I want to start at unless they make bigger ones somewhere

OH mentioned a fly press but we just haven't got the money for one of those!

I've got a disc cutter that goes up to 1" diameter. They are useful but get a bit stroppy if you want to cut anything over 0.6-0.8mm thickness and many a time they would be joining your tools out on the street.

I'm hoping for world peace but I'd also like something shiny as well...

One of my disc cutters goes up to 1". Anything bigger than that I just use a saw - it really doesn't take very long at all to do.

I never disc cut fine silver though - it's way too soft and just bends into the cutting tube. There again, I can't think of anything I'd ever need a fine silver disc for

I confess that for thinner sheet, I've also used a die cutting machine, which works brilliantly.

This stuff in 1mm thick, can't cut it with tin snips and I want to make alot at once and don't want to end up with a £300 bracelet

I've found a hydraulic press that I think will do the job!

Would just be easier to buy them ready made though.

I also have all kinds of die cutting machines but they are made for card and would be extremely damaged if used for silver!
