Rolling mill= v. expensive. Steel mesh= free scrap from friend!! Not sure if you can hammer silver onto other materials to get texture but I'm gonna experiment!!

I dunno about hammering it, but I did once put a semi dried ivy leaf through a mill on top of a sheet of silver, got a lovely imprint and made it into a keyring for my friend, who happens to be called Ivy!
