Hello from Norwich

Hi

I've been making jewellery from sterling for a while as a hobby and am just beginning to dip my foot into the idea of making it a business.

My present work is adult themed, figurative pieces, so I won't be posting many photos just in case ! I've recently teamed up with a NY artist and I've produced a few pieces based on her paintings with a view to selling them into her home town to promote both our work.

Mostly I make brooches but there are a couple of devilishly complicated ring designs in the offing.

Up until now all pieces have been hand made from sheet but I've just started work on a piece that is destined to become a casting - a dead cupid - the whole process of which is very frightening and seems to require a whole workshop of big, expensive, dangerous gadgets!

I'd love to know if there are other Norwich based jewellery makers on the forum!

Hi Joe, welcome to the forum. Not based in Norwich though and very much an amateur!
