Question Help cut too close around my bezel...

just starting out....very new to jewellery making

got a little carried away with the cutting out around my bezel that I had so carefully & proudly soldered (first bit of of soldering!!) to 1mm sheet silver

I have a cut mark down the side of the bezel and a small hole where I've managed to cut into the bezel strip...how best can I fix this?

    or shall I start again:confused

    any advice much appreciated..

    cheers Kay

    Hello Kay.

I'd start again. I think trying to repair it would be more trouble than it's worth. Put it down to experience.

Agree with Carol. You'll never be happy with it, and it will take way longer to try to bodge together than to just start again.

Sorry to have to say this (because of the extra work) but
quicker in the long run to start again.

Yes, I agree too! It would take much longer to make repairs than to make a new one.
You're not the first one to do it, and you certainly won't be the last!

Yes i agree with the girls, it will be less frustrating to start again, but don't despair you can use recycle that silver bezel, maybe melt it done and make embellishments for rings etc, i done the very same thing as you when i made my first ring
