    Default Are they silver????

    I've been given some head pins and thong ends, on the packets they say silver, but i have my doubts, how can i find out if they are or not????

    I got my wires all muddled so I filed the end and it soon showed which was plated and which was sterling.

    A touchstone and acids is the classic way. Try looking for a Troy test kit?
