Hi all, thought I'd better introduce myself seeing as after the fab help I've had off people today I'm gonna definitely be in here a lot!!
Well, where shall I start......
My name is Katy Nicola Moloney and I'm a jewellery designer maker from Swansea. Fresh out of University, graduated from Staffordshire University this July! Only just been able to get making again since finishing uni thanks to the wonderful wonderful Prince's Trust loaning me some lovely money to buy tools and equip! Working out of my workshop (or playroom!!) on the back of my mother's house. I try to keep my jewellery fun and quirky, my current collection, Tea for Two, inspired by tea parties. I work predominantly in silver but use copper and enamel when it's more appropriate.

Hello!
I went to Staffordshire Uni too graduated in 2004.

What course did you do and who was your tutor?

I did Design: Crafts and my tutors were Jason Cleverly and John Grayson.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!! No way!! Thats what I did!! John was my tutor!! Jasons now working at Falmouth but met him when we did New Designers. John was like a puppy looking up to his master!! I started at Staffs in 2005 but only on a HND for a year until I realised it was pants and wasn't learning anything so took the leap to do the Degree! Also had Rajesh Gogna and Gareth Neal but I think they only started themselves in 2005
