    Hi Kym, its quite good as it gives you the different firing options, especially if you don't have a kiln! I have also got the Precious Metal Clay Techniques by Tim McCreight, which I got for a bargain from Borders when it closed down. If you want to have a look at that one before you buy am happy to post it to you so you can see if its what you want??

    Don't forget the libraries too, you can often pay a nominal fee and your local library will bring books in from other libraries...
    you can get quite a lot of good craft books that way
