That looks great - you should be well chuffed!
I tried this weave myself recently but it grew SO slowly. My chunky cuff idea was very quickly scaled down so I admire your perseverance.

Really gorgeous piece and well done on cutting all your own rings.
It's truly beautiful!

Thanks everyone, it was a long process especially as I ran out of the first wire I used and had to unpick half of it, but I'm well chuffed with it and loved it even more when it came out of the tumbler lol.
Just one small query about attaching the clasp, about how the end rings fall when fastened, is that normal and is there any type of clasps that would suit the weave?
I don't know a thing about chan maille but tell me please, do you solder all the rings?
thanks Ani... had a moment of horror there thinking of you having to solder that lot .. might even have a go myself!
definitely give it a go! It's a bit time consuming trying to get a weave right but when you have it's amazing!
Ani, having wrestled with this problem for years, I finally discovered that using a longer tube clasp with some extra rings works brilliantly - like this:
It means none of the rings can flop over. The alternative is to taper the weave down to a one ring point and use a regular clasp, but you do loose some of the impact of the wide cuff that way.
Wow! Those are gorgeous. Wish I had the patience. Is it something you can do watching the telly, like knitting, or do you need to give it full attention?
