    Hi
    Just joined, have been meaning to do something crafty for ages, thought it might help as I have anxiety & depression (long story but basically famillies) and really wanted to get into PMC. I found out all about PMC after researching fingerprint jewellery and have been searching the net for products etc for a while now, and today found this site. I wish I'd found it sooner!

    I love bespoke jewellery, spend a fortune on it so what better way to keep me happy then to make my own!

    I'm 30, got 3 kids, go back to work after maternity tomorrow, really wish I didn't have to!

    Anyway, I'm after some courses near me, posted on the other forum, mainly PMC & photopolymer but also basic silver techneques such as using findings and soldering etc.

    Can anyone also recommend any books that might be good for what I'm after?

    There seems to be so many PMC books that it's hard to know where to start!

    Magical metal Clay Jewellery by Sue Heaser is a good first book for PMC people
    My PMC Tips Blog has quite a few hints and tips too..
    There's also lots here in the forum (search bar is on the top and "silver clay" turns up quite a lot of posts)

    Welcome to the forum! I hope going back to work isn't too painful.

    I've had similar problems to you, I find getting stuck in with jewellery can really help
