    Default I've started....shall I finish? lol

That'll teach me to read books about using old tin cans in your jewellery....
At least I'll have something to work on if we end up with the "new technique" option on our monthly challenge

I haven't decided on an attachment point for a chain OR what I'm going to do with it but it's
going to need screws or rivets to hold the layers together (neither of which I've ever done)
(if it works out then cutting up tins might get addictive )

It's gonna be so cute Nic. You're so lucky that you have a shop so you can trial things before you make loads.

This one was an old biscuit tin that then held firelighters, it was a quite rusty inside.
Until I rescued it, this gorgeous tin was heading for the bin
I used metal shears to cut down the edge and get the bottom off.
(very sharp edges to the tin so be careful!)

Any reasonably thin tin is good, especially old food tins as they are often
    very brightly printed

When I first started to play at making jewellery I used to use old tins, but never thought of combiing them with PMC.

Always have a stack of them for when I have done some home baking and my wife wants rid of some, but I cannot bring myself to throwthem out.

You can also make whistles out of them. If anyone wants the instructions let me know and I will post

A couple of years ago, Mors Kochanski (bushcraft instructor) showed a load of us how to make whistles out of beer cans. Unfortunately for everyone else there, he also showed a lot of children there how to do it too...
