Hallo from Cardiff

Hi there
I am fairly new to making jewellery, done a City and Guilds Course in silversmithing and design and am mainly teaching myself various techniques including PMC and bead weaving. I am also in the process of learning how to use polymer clay.
I am now preparing for my first ever stall at a local Hafla where I will hopefully sell a few items. The event is on the 22nd at Guildford Hall (can't post URL due to posting rules) and I am concentrating on making items for bellydancers (anklets and foot thongs).Trouble with the foot thongs is that I can currently only make them in size 4/5 (my own foot size) and 7 (a friend's foot size). I haven't yet sussed out how to make other sizes!
In my dayjob I am a journalist and also work as a hypnotherapist.
Anyway I just wanted to say allo and introduce myself.Would be nice to get in touch with other designers from Cardiff.

Hello Helen - I'm in Chepstow not Cardiff but closer than some of the others!

Why don't you hypnotise your clients into letting you measure their feet so you can get lots of different sizes haha!

Funny idea - hypnosis doesn't quite work that way
I think I figure out sizes if I work with individual customers. I offer my wares with extension chains so they are adjustable.
