I think I spoke too soon when I mentioned snowmen! It fell most of the afternoon but didnt really settle properly...so now everywhere is just slushy and cold and wet...lovely! We'll see what tomorrow brings...

I don't want snow until 23rd/24th!! We have a bit of travelling to do before then to collect grandmother from Westward Ho! and MIL from Torquay and then across to Somerset on 22nd.

Woke up to a frost and then had a few tiny tiny snowflakes then it turned to murky drizzle and 1C - time to stoke up the log burner I think

Me too , I love the snow as long as I don't have to drive anywhere, today we have had nasty windy cold drizzle, my worst kind of weather, but my friend and I took our little ones to see the Christmas decorations and displays at Chatsworth House, it was gorgeous.... log fires, lots of oh so elegant decorations and roasted chestnuts and the kids thought it was great too !
