I've just got my new copy of Beads and Beyond (I really must subscribe so that I don't have to go into town everytime) and not only is our Nic featured but our George took part in the designer challenge and has a lovely chain maille earring project featured.

Then there's Julie Fountain, who many of us know from Lush Lampwork and her torch porch!

I have to admit to being pleased with how the designer challenge pieces came out - but I'm pretty disappointed with the photography on the maille project - I have no idea how they've managed to make some very shiny silver look quite that bad! I understand the photographer was off sick at some stage, but the result for me is pretty atrocious.

I thought Nic's pieces looked lovely though!

sounds interesting might just have to look it up.
i do a little bit of bead work but a blacksmiths fingers are'nt really designed for that sort of work.
