    Default Websites that distract you

Ok, so this forum has had me pretty distracted lately, but it's great cos I've learnt such a lot and I'm more inspired than I've been in ages!

Anyway, I thought I would start a thread to see what other websites people like.

Personally I'm a sucker for cute animals (ahhhh).
My morning ritual is to check Cute Overload http://cuteoverload.com/
and then I Can Has Cheezburger http://icanhascheezburger.com/

Then Facebook and Twitter, and then the flash games websites as my fiance makes games...i normally end up playing some... :p

    ...and now this forum!

And I wonder why I get no work done!

I Can Has Cheezburger is always a distraction for me, but I find http://graphjam.com/ sucks me in for longer.

Lol, can I has cheeseburger, I love all those cat pics. My fiance often puts 4chan images on and we get stuck flicking through for ages (can be a little rude sometimes so don't go there if your easily shocked).

    Facebook of course.

    Twitter.

I have 4 email addresses to check

I game on gaming platform called 'Steam', you heard of it Alexandra? I found an awesome flash penguin game a while back, someone linked me to it so I can't remember the address. Our lives sound so similar... did crafts at uni, now jewellers, both engaged to a geek Although my geek doesn't work from home

Ooh, not come accross 4chan - looks cool.

Yes my fiance has a steam account - we played a lot of Left4Dead a while back - lots of Zombie heads exploding! Nice!

If you like flash gaming, Ben's games can be found at http://www.benoldinggames.co.uk/

I also use the other big sites:
    http://www.kongregate.com/
    http://armorgames.com/
    etc.

What does your 'geek' do Charlotte?

Nooooo I cannot look at anything else.....

E-mails, this forum, a general craft forum, facebook and flickr is enough for me.

    Oh gosh...

    Apart from here:

    Facebook
Myspace (although technically that's only for Kilometers for Katie though as I am a member of the charities team and help run that and the Facebook group )
Twitter (I have a work account and a personal one)
My own website (I can't resist trying to tweak it and make it better)
Blogger (I have 4 blogs in various states of finished-ness and dormancy)
Selfsufficientish (Yes, I'm a fully paid up tree hugging hippy)
BBC News (We don't have a TV but I like to keep up with what is going on in the world)
Livejournal (Love finding out what my friends are up to)
E-bay (I can spend days on there ooh-ing and aah-ing over stuff)
E-buyer (Because I'm a tech geek who likes to build PC's)
Brew it Yourself (Because both my OH and I brew all kinds of stuff)
FoodGawker (Because I'm an ex-chef and I like finding new recipes to inflict on my OH... when he lets me in the kitchen as he loves cooking also)
Flickr (Another site that can eat your day away)
YouTube (Eee gads I've spent whole evenings watching gag reels and bloopers on there)

... there's hundreds of websites that keep me busy I have waaaaaay too many interestes and not enough time to cover all of them

I also have a steam account (as does my OH) and regularly play Counterstrike Source and Eternal Silence.

Now you know why we have no TV... we don't have time for it
