Oh! Well done Bridget! I've just got my first 'gemstone' purchases through the post this morning...mostly moonstone, smokey quartz, almandite garnet and Brazillian amethyst...and mainly cabs although I got seduced by a couple of facetted stones too!! I got my Cogswell through mid week. Now all I need is the time to read and play! It's all rather exciting!! Great things hoped for in 2010!!!

Here's a photo of my 'stash'!!...Ooooo...I'm so excited!!!Click image for larger version.

gemstones are so collectable, Bee, even if you don't use them for years. I have a huge stash and I'm currently lusting after more - and I don't have the Cogswell yet (haven't even ordered it as himself seems to be going through a rather grumpy phase ).

I've had a couple of gemstone pages open for a few days now - they just come up when I log on - cos I can't decide what I want most.
