Well done Bridget! I like that is 'off set' on the oval too! I admire you for your ability to be able to do that. I have a few unusual shaped cabs that I want to do something with but all I can think of is plain bezels cos I want everything to be even and straight

    Lush stash B!!

Well done with your first cab setting. Nice markings on the turquoise.

I've just realised that I've not commented - despite looking admiringly at this thread several times! Sorry Bridget - I think it's lovely - and I too really like the way you've rotated the bezel against the mount.

How have you done the adjustable bit? I'm always interested in this as it does make producing rings 'for stock' so much easier.

Lovely! I too like the rotation of the stone, it really changes the whole look of the setting. Well done!

Sadly - the enormous 'amethyst' is, in fact a purple cubic zirconia...very pretty but I probably would have preferred an amethyst of that colour and size!!! I wanted a range of sizes and shapes to practice on and that one just 'fell into my hands'! (On-ist Guv'!) The other stones are all 'real'. The 2.65ct, 9mm amethyst cab is real and very pretty - so I hope I can do something really nice for that one!
