    Default Free chocolate

The Telegraph has just sent out an email saying, effectively, buy the paper tomorrow and get a box of truffles free from Waitrose.

Not as good as the Sun's £10 Waitrose voucher admittedly, but even so...

Oh, I thought only the US suppliers tended to do that.

Have I related the sorry tale of my purchase of the flush setting DVD? Where I happily munched on the free Jolly Rancher that was included (assuming it to be a complementary sweet), only to find that it was actually supposed to be used as part of the setting process... Oops.

Well... You know the trick of warming the item & using a film of beeswax for sticking a stone in place? Get a boiled sweet, suck it a bit and dab some of the resulting syrup onto the object; keep dabbing until it gets tacky. Then plonk your stone on table down, move it around until it's where you want it. Cleanup is much easier than beeswax.
