    Carole its very beautiful and looks expensive so I shouldn't think there would be a problem with your charge. It was worth every minute of those 8 hours m'dear - an heirloom piece.

    Thanks guys. The back is the same size as the front and is just hammered. The bail is just soldered onto the back part. I think I'm just disappointed that I couldn't manage the hinges. I'll have another go when I'm not under so much pressure.

    Your locket Carole is absolutely beautiful. I especially like the detailing on the front. Worth every penny I'd say

    I love it - the gold on the silver looks so good.

    Congratulations to you - even if you'd rather have the hinges involved, I think it's perfect as it is.

    Gorgeous locket. I have always loved lockets and this one is so beautiful. I would say it is definitely worth all the hard work, would love to have a go at one myself one day
