I don't know if you live somewhere near a tourist area, but you must have a friendly face, otherwise they wouldn't ask you!

I used to live near Pimlico and always got asked for directions from tourists .... take it as a compliment!

Oooh yes Coco, it must mean you look like an approachable knowledgable sort!

I love it when people ask me directions. Or for the time actually. It makes me feel useful, as if I somehow passed a few auditions and was chosen to be the helpful-direction-lady. Having said that, it's pretty embarrassing when you don't know. And as someone who has no sense of direction, its such a shame I have to keep sending people in (most probably) the wrong direction just to maintain the helpful-direction-lady image. It's even worse when you pass them coming back from your wrong directions a few minutes later....
