    I can recommend both West Dean and Birmingham Jewellery School. Another place is John Cass which has a good reputation. Mid Cornwall Jewellery School is good and the person who runs it is lovely (Lisa Cain) but there is one tutor who I would always avoid (I think we've discussed this before).

    Looks like plenty of good advice there, I'd also add InTheStudio lovely place to study and they do residential.

    Default Courses in England

    It is more intriguing as to how a non-Norwegian ended up in Norway doing tattoo work, but it's a free world out there.

    There are courses just up the road from me - Jewellery making classes, training and workshops including silversmithing and precious metal clay. - with perhaps more of an emphasis on precious metal clay.

    Perhaps one of the first things to do is for you ponder what sorts of things you might want to make, as a course on bead necklace making may or may not fit the bill for you.
