My fave telly was Picture Book where a lady taught me how to make paper lanterns.

My fave sweet was Poppets but I also liked Fruit Salad, Black Jacks, Flying Saucers and Jubblies

I still have a first edition of Diana - a comic for girls - complete with the bracelet that came as a free gift. The next week they gave away a bluebird charm, which I also have. I graduated to Bunty and Judy. Diana became Jackie.

I was in love with Davy Jones and wanted to have his babies. I was also in love with Andy Fairweather-Lowe who sung with Amen Corner and nowadays is a session musician for the likes of Eric Clapton. Oh, and Steve Ellis of Love Affair adorned my bedroom wall too.

My fave puter game was the original Space Invaders, table style in a pub, over which I would slosh much vodka and fresh orange juice, which was my tipple of the time. I convinced myself it was healthy cos of the fresh OJ

Bill and Ben (flowerpot men) Andy Pandy and Looby Loo.

The first ever Cindy( red/ white/ blue/ top and Jeans)

Dolls hospital near me where you could get your doll repaired.

Jubblies ( iced orange in triangular shape) Jubilee bags(sweets and stuff in a surprise bag)

Rhubarb and custard boiled sweets but MORE important the milk bottles, you can get them now but not with the dusty finish and lovely taste ahhhh.

Stop now or else I will go on and on.........

We only ever had sweets once a week on a Wednesday (Brownies night). I remember banana flavoured chews, yum!

Nope to Leif Garrett - the name rings the faintest of bells but that's as far as it goes.
