    Default New woolies!!!!!!..........kinda

Our olde local woolworths has finally been replaced..... by a 99p store. It sounds trashy but it's really fabulous, it still feels like woolies and it's lovely to have some life back in the old place

Guess where I'm getting my sugar hits from now on!

Mine's been replaced with a Sainsbury's local. There's another Sainsbury's 10 minutes walk away and a Co-Op supermarket at the end of the road, so I was hping they would do something more useful with the shop but hey-ho! It has been quite useful at 9.30 on a Sunday evening I have to say...

Ours is now an MnCo - a clothes shop I hadn't come across before. It has some quite nice bits and bobs.

Ours is a frozen food shop - not iceland or farm foods but similar I think.

Ours is an 'Original Factory Shop', much like Woolies but a bit smarter (with adult clothes and shoes too). Would have quite liked an M&Co though...

Ours is still a sad empty (and partly boarded up because the local rissoles have broken the windows) shell in the middle of town.

Our local WHS has rather stepped up to the mark, and now has pic and mix and a not bad range of toys though.

I think there's one of those opposite the woolies site (it's always gonna be woolies no matter what it's really called.) It might just be some other random clothes shop though - never been in. A few doors down we've had a new reptile shop open up!
