    that looks fab Filament, i once set a square moonstone as big as that for an engagement ring!, and the ring itself was enormous, the poor girls hand must have ached somewhat

    i think the ring looks amazing. And the stone - that would be beautiful on its own but in your ring it becomes something else entirely (in a good way of course).

    Can't wait to see the finished product.

    Tis Finished. I called it "The Psychonaut".

    I hope you all like it. I know it is not to everyones taste, but it is an art piece more than an everyday wearing to the shops and work ring. It weighs a ton by the way. I don't suppose I'll be able to sell it, claiming it to be silver, without hallmarking it because its so heavy.
