Gorgeous Nicci, and the hallmark is lovely, I was pretty chuffed with my first 925 stamp so I'd never stop admiring a hallmark!

    Hi Nicci,

I love your malachite ring, I have always favoured big rings with unusual shaped stones and I am so pleased that you are much happier with your hallmarking now, I think that they are wonderful and I wish I had some too!! ( I'm not sure that it is very normal to get so giddy over another person's hallmarking !?

Ha ha, I still don't know what to think about the malachite ring, DH thinks it is hideous and I made it with quite a large shank size so that it doesn't fit me on purpose; otherwise I would have tried it for a while myself. I love the malachite, but don't think the ring style suits my hand at all. Malachite is so soft you can file and sand it like silver, I almost wish I had made two smaller cabs from it.

Jo - Yes try it; much easier lol!

Love the rings & it must be fab to see your hall mark on them
be careful when sanding Malachite the dust is toxic.
